Chief Editor

Evan Chapin is a roving storyteller and perpetual student. He served as Main Squeeze’s Fiction Editor in 2025 and obtained his Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with honors later that year. His work has been published in lots of places, including Propagule, Creekside Magazine, and Let Me Tell You This Story. And Main Squeeze.

His debut collection of short stories, It’s Scary Being Old and Broke is available on request.

Poetry Editor

Desiree Remick is the author of the forthcoming chapbook A Longing With No Nomenclature (Finishing Line Press, 2026). She holds a BFA in Creative Writing from Southern Oregon University. Her work has won awards, most recently Bacopa Literary Review’s Free Verse Poetry Award, and has appeared in Reed Magazine, ANMLY, The Avenue, and other places.

Fiction Editor

Aydin Eliason (he/him) is a fiction writer and poet who is obsessed with language. A winner of Usolec Company’s 2026 Student Earth Day Creative Arts Competition in playwriting, he is the former editor of the SOU student literary anthology Sexy Grammatical Errors. He hopes to one day read an entire library, and serves as a fiction editor for Main Squeeze.

Poetry Editor

Sierra B. Jameson (they/them) is a writer, proofreader, and probably a cryptid lurking through the Pacific Northwest. They have a collection of plants they call poems and stars they call stories. Their work can be seen in Bending Genres and 7th Circle Pyrite, and is currently a writer for the indie animated series, Monna Chroma.
