Crazy Crab Poem

Crazy crab grassroots invasion of little boat
wall street whale witness in Galapagos, a trendy venture
keep bees in sight, never hide from ladybugs
the plan is to show them exactly how the parts fit
excrement bubbles up out of cement, pick your poison
an iron golem gives it the old heave ho with track race extraterrestrial force of g dynamo explodes, people decide it’s time for versus verses
abstract acting out like flamingo dancer with rutabaga breath steam vents,
steam stack lightning
don’t play dumb with me, you Casanova!

Supernova clams betray hint of seductive
the linoleum floor is lined with paper mache tools ready for use the toy train
tracks stretch out even further than the real ones oh fate! What is this meal on
top a glockenspiel?
Can’t I raise my arms, my wings, in protest?

In answer to the morse code, handwritten prophecies
we see ourselves in mirrors too slender to accommodate us
give it up fuzzball! Acting out is in in theatre circles
gaze up at spaceball skies, see meringue light
we bask like the sharks, throw darts into the sea at sundown as if we didn’t
understand! Of course we understand
the arcade pings and plongs and we sit up all night to watch
see through tinted glass, fruity windows emit scent
let it fall through tongue slides onto strangled couches
nobody acts foolish anymore, they simply are
red crayon rubber ducky hijackers.
